Vijay’s Puli featuring Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Hansika in the lead roles is the most awaited films of 2015. Chimbu Devan directed this movie. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and Vairamuthu penned the lyrics.

 Yaendi Yaendi

 The album of Puli starts with Yaendi Yaendi, which is a typical Devi Sri Prasad’s romantic number. This track is extra special because it is not sung by Vijay, it is also sung by Shruti Haasan.

The voice of Shruti Haasan does full justice to Vairamuthu’s lyrics. The usage of sweet Tamil words is the highlight of the song. As the song progresses and the tempo increases, you will surely tap your feet.

Jingiliya

Singers: Javed Ali, Pooja AV
Lyrics: Vairamuthu

 This is a DSP style masala song and this peppy track kicks off with mild techno beats and electric guitar sounds. Singers Javed Ali and Pooja voice attracts the audiences. Sing along and feel the Goosebumps which only  DSP song can give.

Sottavaala

Singers: MM Manasi, Shankar Mahadevan
Lyrics: Vairamuthu

 This funny track will manage to captivate you. Especially, Shankar Mahadevan’s voice and the usage of nadaswaram and thavil make this song to listen more number of times. DSP composed a beautiful yet complex number, will make you to say ‘Only DSP can do this”.

 This track sung by Anita , Chimayi, MLR Karthikeyan, Sooraj Santhosh is easily one of the best songs in the album.  In short, this song will leave you spell bound as it is different from all the numbers which you have heard till now in Puli album.

Singers: Mano, Priyadharshini

The title track of this movie will surely impress with the visuals on silver screen. Mano shows off his classical skill, proving why he is one of the best playback singers. DSP’s composition has lovely mix of flute intervals, mild tabla beats and his favourite use of orchestra.

Manidha Manidha

Singers: Tippu
Lyrics: Vairamuthu

 Tippu’s vocals and Vairamuthu’s powerful lyrics put together this motivational song in the top list. This song is melodious enough and it will make you to listen more number of times as Tippu leaves a mark in your hearts.
