Everyone is aware that, Saif and Katrina starrer ‘Phantom’ was released on 28th of this month. This film opened up with a quite average openings. But with the good reviews, Saif Ali Khan’s Phantom showed a huge variation on its second day.
From the latest box office reports this film has bagged Rs 8.46 Crore on its first day and with the peek variations, Phantom collected Rs 12.78 Crores on its second day, 29th August 2015. Now, the total collections of Phantom are Rs 21.24 Crores, that too in just two days.
It looks like Raksha Bandhan day worked out very well for this film collections. Phantom which runs on the script of a worldwide terrorism and Mumbai attacks, is marked as the 9th biggest opener of the year in Kabir Khan’s directional films.
Whereas, Ajay Devgan’s latest offering ‘Drishyam’ had just collected Rs 8 Crores in two days and ‘Badlapur’ has bagged Rs 7.12 Crores in two days of its release. This clearly explains Phantom film has turned Drishyam and Badlapur.
Top trade analyst Taran tweeted Phantom box office collections as, “#Phantom biz witnesses SOLID 51% growth on Sat [Raksha Bandhan]. Fri 8.46 cr, Sat 12.78 cr. Total: ₹ 21.24 cr [on 2600 screens]. India biz.”
Film critics and trade analysts strongly believe that, this film will bag huge amounts in its forthcoming days…Let’s wait and see how Phantom will strike the box office with its collections..
