PK is a forthcoming film of Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma. Rajkumar Hirani is being directed this film. Ajay Atul, Shantanu Moitra and Ankit Tiwari composed the music. Here is the music review of PK (2014) movie.

1. Thakri Chokro

Singers: Swaroop Khan

Lyrics: Swanand Kirkire

Thakri Chokro is marked as the biggest hit of the movie and added into favorite tracks of 2014 music album. Swaroop Khan’s voice makes the music lovers enjoy the song. The track is high on energy levels and the same level is carried throughout the song. Lyrics by Swanand Kirkire are major asset of the song.

2. Love is a waste of Time

Singers: Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam

Lyrics: Amitabh Varma

Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam have broken the beats of Bollywood with their vocals that perfectly fits for tune and beat of the song. This fantastic melody song has already been added to the list of chartbusters. The usage of violin, harmonica and yesteryear rhythm patterns is another highlight of the track.

3. Chaar Kadam

Singers: Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan

Lyrics: Swanand Kirkire

As usual Shreya Ghoshal has given her best vocals for the song that goes well with the vocals of Shaan. In addition, Swanand Kirkire has delivered upbeat track lyrics. The track has a brilliant oddness associated with it and is presenting breathtaking perfection.

4. Dil Darbadar

Singer: Ankit Tiwari

Lyrics: Manoj Muntashir

The soulful love track is small and slow compared to the rest. The soulful composition was sung by Ankit Tiwari who makes the song quite impressive containing simplicity.

5. Nanga Punga Dost

The wonderful violin touches and balanced rhythm paves the way for Shreya Ghoshal’s solo performance. The lyrics are poetically written with ease and the composition is fantabulous and of a typical style which makes even a love-dead heart beat again.

The pure innocence is clearly showcased in the form of this amazing theme track. Usage of string sections and guitars make the song to hear the theme more number of times.

Bhagwan Hai Kahan Re Tu

The naturalness of the track is effortlessly evident as it progresses. Despite the modern orchestration, the track has a different Indian flavor going hand in hand. The philosophical lyrics make a stunning impact yet again.

Verdict:

The album completely changes the mood and contains energetic songs. If the past albums of this year have not reached the expectations, I am sure this will reach that expectation. The refreshing album was an enjoyable listening and youth will surely love it.
